Nanomaterials exhibit unique optical, electronic and magnetic properties which make them ideal candidates for applications in several fields of Science. Our research is multidisciplinary and our interests are focused on the design of functional nanomaterials and their applications in Biomedical (e.g. drug delivery, sensing) and Physical Sciences (e.g. energy). Our group welcomes students with diverse scientific backgrounds (e.g. biology, physics, materials and chemistry).
